Giving to an Existing Fund

Gifts to existing charitable funds are welcome at anytime and may come from anyone.

Many types of gifts are welcome.

In addition to the charitable funds created by individuals and families, several not-for-profit organizations and schools have established funds that benefit the named organization or its programs, projects and scholarships. These charitable funds often seek contributions. In some cases, memorial scholarship funds have been established by our local schools to receive many memorial gifts.

At the time of a funeral, gifts to funds of the Community Foundation are a fitting memorial. Please ask that contributions be made payable to the Community Foundation of Shelby County. The donor or the family of the deceased may notify us of the appropriate charitable fund to receive memorial gifts.
