The Community Foundation of Shelby County invests most charitable funds in the Conservative, Balanced or Growth Investment Pools. Donors may indicate an investment preference at the time a charitable fund is established. Donor advised funds may provide ongoing input into investment pool selection. A Stable Pool containing low-risk investments and a Money Market Pool are also available. Project and Campaign funds typically reside in a checking account to preserve gifts. For details regarding of investment pools and options, please contact the Community Foundation office.
